Location: Escape from New Bedford Superior Court

Case Details:
Suspect Anthony C. Flye age 38 had been charged by Swansea Police with various sex crimes included rape of a child and rape of a person over 60.  On 3/25/2008 Flye attempted to escape from the New Bedford Superior Court by jumping over the second floor railing.  He was transported to St. Lukes Hospital where he successfully escaped from custody there.  Suspect should be considered dangerous.  The Swansea Police and Bristol County Sheriff's Office are investigating.  The BCSO is offering a $5000 reward for information leading to the capture of Flye. 

Flye was captured in Westport on 4/7/2008

Location: Dave's Lawnmower 1248 GAR Hwy. Swansea

Case Details:
Suspect is a white male approx. 6' tall walked into Dave's Lawnmower and stole a Husqvarna chainsaw.  Was operating a dark colored Ford Explorer

UPDATE :  On September 21,2 007 a warrant was requested for Robert Cousineau charging him with Larceny over $250.  He subsequently turned himself into the court.

Location: Slades Ferry Bank, 2388 GAR Hwy. Swansea

Case Details:
Suspect white male, 5'7", scruffy, light colored baseball cap wearing large brown sunglasses.  Brown paper bag placed on counter demanding money.  Flees on a blue bicycle.  White female accomplice beleived to be driving suspect vehicle that bike was placed into.  Possible first name of Heather.

BANK ROBBERY

Location: Bank Five, 497 Milford Rd. Swansea

Case Details:
Suspect described as white male wearing an LA Dodgers hat, 5'6" to 5'8" fled the area on a maroon 10 speed bike.

Suspect described as white male approx 5'9" tall 185 pounds about 30-35 yrs old. He had an ace bandage wrapped around his head and over his nose. He used a note to rob the bank.

Case Details:
This person used a note to rob a bank in Swansea. He is described as a white man, about 5'7" tall, 170 pounds, with an unshaven face and goatee.

LARCENY OF DONATION CAN

Location: Tim Horton’s Coffee Shop  572 G.A.R. Hwy.

Case Details:
Susp described as Hispanic mail 5'7" to 5'9" walked into the Tim Horton's Coffee Shop on Rt. 6 in Swansea and grabbed a Hurricane Katrina donation box and left. Employees did not notice the box missing until later in the day.

Suspect described as a white male 6'3" in his 30's wearing white sneakers, blue jeans, green vest over a white sweatshirt. Appeared to have long hair. Susp. had hand in pocket as if he had a gun. Demanded money and fled on foot.

Location: Dunkin Donuts 262 Swansea Mall Dr.

Case Details:
Several credit cards were stolen by a clerk at Bld 19. Some were given to this suspect. The suspect used vicitms credit card at Dunkin Donuts in the Swansea Mall

BREAKING & ENTERING

Location: Town Liquors 391 Wilbur Ave.

Case Details:
At approx. 2:28 am the police dept. recieved an alarm from Town Liquiors. Suspect smashed in the front door and took the cash register and went out the same door.
